Applications invited by Central Council for Research in Siddha for the post of Research Officer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Applicants should have completed M.B.B.S Degree from a recognized University/ Institution and recognized by MCI and Degree /Diploma in Pathology of minimum 1 year duration.  Two years research/teaching/hospital experience in pathology in a recognized Hospital/Institution, after obtaining the M.B.B.S Degree.

Qualification:

Recruitment Process:

Candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications, percentage of marks etc. The shortlisted candidates will have to attend a written test. DG, CCRS will, at his discretion, fix different qualifying standards for different categories in the written test wherever applicable. Candidates qualified on the basis of the result of written test, would be required to appear for the Interview. Final selection
list would be prepared in order of merit as disclosed by the aggregate marks (marks of written Test and Interview) finally awarded to each candidate taking into account the number of vacancies advertised.

The application should be downloaded (link given below) and filled as per the prescribed fromat.  The above position is for Group A post and, therefore, must apply in Form I.  Candidates should read carefully the essential Qualification required for the post for which they are applying and ensure that they fulfill the same. Documents (self-attested photocopies) in support of essential qualifications should invariably be sent along with the application (Do not enclose any original certificate with the application).   Paste your recent photograph of size 4 cm x 5 cm on the space specified in the application form. Do not staple and do not get the photo attested.   Two copies of the same photo should be retained by the candidate to be pasted on the Attendance Sheet/Bio-data form.   

Fill up the Application Form in your own hand writing using a Ball point pen without leaving any column blank. Write ‘not applicable’ wherever necessary.   Please do sign in running hand. Unsigned applications will be rejected. Variations in the signature will render the application liable to be rejected. 

The application form, duly signed, along with non-refundable application fees of Rs. 100 (DD should be drawn in favor of Central Council for Research in Siddha and payable at Chennai) should be sent in an envelope superscribed “Advertisement No. , APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________________” to:

Note : 
  1. All female candidates and SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees.  Fees should be paid in the form of Demand Draft only.  Fee should be paid separately for each post, if applied for more than one post.
