Walk-in Sarkari (PSU) Jobs 2015 in Guwahati, Assam - Oil India Limited has announced recruitment for the post of Graduate Engineers on contract, temporary basis in Guwahati, Assam. Applicants should have passed BE or B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 2 years of working experience in any Government, Public or Private organization of repute. The vacancy is for 02 positions. 

The salary will be INR 45,000 per month. Only Indian Nationals need apply. The prescribed age limit should be as per Oil India Limited (OIL) rules. Eligible candidates may report to the walkin interview on 17^th February 2015 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

Qualification:  

Applicants should have passed BE or B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 2 years of working experience in any Government, Public or Private organization of repute.

Job Profile:

• Should be aware of safety requirements and regulations in the hydro carbon sector like basic  OISD norms.
• Should be capable of taking up field work in outdoor conditions. Should be conversant with computers
• Should have understanding of technical processes and be able to deal with people at site.
• Should be capable of carrying out basic administrative jobs like record keeping, issuing of gate passes to men and materials, etc.
• Familiarity with pumps, engines and process plants is desirable.
• Should be able to supervise the work done by contractors and follow up with contractor’s personnel.

Experience: 2 years.

Location: Guwahati, Assam.

Pay Band: INR 45,000 / annum.
