Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University invites application for the post of Finance Officer for Guwahati location.

Qualification:

1. A Master’s degree in Commerce with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale as per the UGC Regulations issued from time to time or a Master’s Degree holder cadre from Assam Financial Service.
2. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Finance and Accounts, 

                                                                                    OR 

      3. Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of higher education

                                                                                   OR 

     4. 15 years of administrative/Accounts experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Treasurer or equivalent post.

 

Desirable qualification:

1. Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant
2. Adequate knowledge of computer.
3. Experience of working in Open University / Conventional University.
4. Degree / Diploma in Personal Management / Human Resource Management

Scale of pay: Rs. 37,600 - Rs.67, 000 with grade pay of Rs. 10,000 


Age : Should not be less than 40 years and more than 59 years.
