Qualification:
Essential: 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Certificate in laboratory related work.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications and additional laboratory/research field experience.
Age limit :-
i) 28 years. Government servant/in service candidates will be allowed 5 years relaxation,
SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and PWDs etc. will be allowed relaxation as per GOI rules applicable
from time to time. Age will be reckoned as on 17-05-2014.
ii) OBC candidates are directed to submit the caste certificate as per GOI instructions latest by 3
years old as on date of publication of this notification and issued by competent authority in the
prescribed format (Appendix-3) “Form of Certificate to be produced by other backward classes
applying for appointment to posts under the Government of India”.
iii) Candidates working/have worked on the Long Term projects in ICMR Institutes/Centres
shall be given one time age relaxation, provided they meet the essential qualifications and
experience prescribed for the post, with a view to provide them opportunity to compete with the
other candidates.
Note : UR – Unreserved, SC/ST – Scheduled Castes/Tribes, OBC – Other Backward Classes, PWDs – Persons with Disabilities.
