Pay Band: Rs.15600-39,100 ( PB-3) + Rs. 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 43,200/-) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Age Limit: 35 yrs

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 (i) Good Academic Record with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade in a Point Scale wherever grade system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Mathematics from a recognized university or institute. 
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET / SET

DUTIES: Teaching both undergraduate and graduate students within their fields of expertise, conduct seminars and oversee the students lab works, conduct tests and advise students, prepare lessons, exercise and experiments, curriculum development and development of resource materials, bringing in innovation in technician education, evaluation, public relations and interactions with community, counselling students for continual improvement, assisting administration of the institute and in extension services, publication of their works/ research findings in academic journals / books and any other assignments as be entrusted to them by the superior.
