On 10th June, 2003, the Electricity Act was notified by the Govt. of India. This Act seeks to consolidate the laws relating to generation, transmission, distribution, trading and use of electricity and generally for taking measures conducive to development of electricity industry, promoting competition therein, protecting interest of consumers and supply of electricity to all areas. Pay Band: Rs.5200-20200/- plus grade pay Rs.2400/-

Qualification: 

• Officers of the Central Government or State Government or High Court ;
• holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
• with eight years regular service in the post in pay band – 1 Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/- or equivalent; and
• 12th passed from a recognized Board or Equivalent.
• Skill test norms Dictation : 10 minutes with the speed of 80 wpm Transcription : 50 minutes (English) (on computer)

Age Limit: Shall not exceeding 56 years as on closing date of receipt of applications
