Candidates should have completed Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+02 examination system recognized by Board i.e. COBSE/India or any other recognized Board with minimum 50% marks (excluding additional subjects) and ITI certificate in the relevant trade affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade. The prescribed age limit should be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years. Engagement of Act. Apprentices will be done only on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th class in the 10+2 Examination system and minimum marks of eligibility shall be kept at 50% in aggregate (excluding additional subject) and having ITI certificate in the relevant trade is compulsory. An account payee Bank Draft on any Nationalized Bank or Postal order drawn in favor of FA & CAO, South Eastern Railway/Garden Reach, payable at Kolkata. No Bank Draft/P.O. is required for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex-service man, Women, Minorities & Economically backward classes.
