Post Name : Stenographers
For Stenographers : Graduate Junior Scale Stenographers working in the High Court, Junior Scale Stenographers and graduate Steno-typist having three years of service as such in the cadre working in the Subordinate Courts in the State.
Selection shall be made on the basis of limited competitive examination. The candidates shall have to pass English Stenography test at the speed of 110 words per minutes to be transcribed within a period five times the period taken to dictate, and typing test at the speed of 40 words per minute.

For Judgment Writers : Graduate Senior Scale Stenographers/Judgment Writers (contract Basis) working in Subordinate Courts who have gained sufficient experience in stenography and having at least three years of experience. The selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of performance in shorthand and typing test, the minimum speed for which will be 120 words per minutes to be transcribed in a period four times more than the time taken for dictate, and typing test at the speed of 40 words per minute.
