CMTI (Central Manufacturing Technology Institute) has announced recruitment for the post of Director Post in Bangalore, Karnataka. Candidate should be a Post graduate degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy Engineering with  20 years (out of which at least 10 years in a top managerial capacity or as a divisional head leading a team of scientists/engineers) in manufacturing technology / machine tools field, digital design, prototype development & engineering, micro and nano manufacturing and nano technology applications, mechatronics, IT for manufacturing etc. Exposure to high end product developments, marketing of R&D activities, development of applied R & D linkages with academia and manufacturing industries, etc. Preference will be given to those who have similar work experience in applied R & D with focus on commercialization of technologies, development of marketable products, etc., aiming at achieving institutional self-sustenance and technology leadership.

Gross monthly salary of Rs. 37400- 67000/- + GP 10000/- per month. The prescribed age limit should be minimum 40 years & maximum 55 years as on the date of application released in media. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of one to one interview.
