National Institute of Design has announced recruitment for the post of on the job training for Library Trainees / Professional Assistants in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and Bangalore, Karnataka. Candidates should be have Master’s Degree in Library Science (M. Lib.) with sound knowledge of Computer and Net surfing. The duration of the programmer is one year. The vacancy is for 07 positions. The stipend will be INR 10,000 per month. The last date for application submission is on or before 20th February 2015.

1. You are expected to work conscientiously and diligently and devote yourself to acquire skills and knowledge during your term of training at the Institute. You will have to observe and comply with all rules and regulations of the Institute for the time being in force.
2. You will devote your whole time and attention exclusively to the training at the Institute and you will not engage yourself to work for any other persons, institutions or company whatsoever nor do any occupation for gain without prior permission of the Institute in writing.
3. During the period of training at the Institute, you will not secure or try to secure any other post or scholarship without prior permission of the Institute in writing.
4. Your hours of attendance and holidays will be regulated to suit the training programme and will be as prescribed from time to time.
