Government Recruitment 2015 in Mumbai, Maharashtra for the post of Jr. Draughtsman (Mechanical) at Mazagon Dock Limited

Mazagon Dock Limited has announced recruitment for the post of Jr. Draughtsman (Mechanical) for Mumbai, Maharashtra location. Interested candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent examination conducted by a Board recognized by the Govt. and must have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the Trade of ‘Draughtsman’ in Mechanical Stream conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India.

The candidate should have work experience in the relevant trade/function in a Ship building industry for minimum one year duly certified by their Personnel Department . Number of vacancy is 46. An application fee of Rs 100/- is applicable. There will be no application fee for SC/ST candidates. Selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of written test. Upper age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 1^st February 2015.Age relaxation is applicable to reserved categories (Refer ad).

Internal candidates who are meeting the qualifying requirements may apply for Higher Grades irrespective of the date of completion of their contractual period.

General Condition:

2. The candidates selected for appointment are required to work in different shifts on all working days and places as identified by the Company.
3. Contract appointment for maximum period of 2 years of selected candidates is subject to their being declared medically fit by the Chief Medical Officer of the Company as per required standard of health & fitness as per prescribed rules.
