Rajasthan Public Service Commission invites application from the interested and eligible candidates for the post of Lecturer- Accounting and Business Statistics for Master’s Degree in relevant subject from an Indian University and qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test conducted by UGC. Pay Scale fixed for this position will be Rs. 15600-39100/-. Selection of the candidates will be based on personal interview.

Qualification:

1. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.1. candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
4. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Definition of Good Academic Record (For all subjects/posts):

Good academic record means an average of at least 55% marks in 3 examinations preceding to Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in graduation and any one of the Secondary/High School, Hr. Secondary/Sr. Secondary or equivalent grades in the point scale wherever grading system is followed without including any grace marks and/or rounding off to make it 55% or 50% as the case may be.

Fees Schedule: 

The fee which will be paid by the applicants with the category General& BC (Creamy layer), Special BC category is Rs.350. Rs.250 is the fee which is to pay by the applicants for Non Creamy layer BC & Special BC category of Rajasthan and Rs.150 for All PH & SC/ ST candidates of Rajasthan.
