Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of Assistant Geologist Job in Sikkim Public Service Commission on temporary regular basis.

Qualification: a). Master Degree in Geology from a recognized University.
Other requisites:
- Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Identification Certificate issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
- Should have valid Local Employment Card.
- Should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim.
Pay Band: Rs. 9,300-34,800/-
Age Limit : Should have attained the age of 21 years, but should not have exceeded 30 years as on 01.05.2014. The maximum age limit shall be relaxed upto 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to B.L., S.T., S.C. & 4 yrs. for MBC candidates and 03 yrs. for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure: The examination will consist of 03 papers:
I. PAPER: GENERAL ENGLISH, FULL MARKS: 100, DURATION: 02 HOURS
II. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, FULL MARKS: 100, DURATION: 02 HOURS

Application Fee : The form should be filled up by the candidate himself/herself and submitted in the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on any working day between 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. along with original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’.
