Qualifications and Experience Requirement:
Assistant Professor (Core Engineeringexcluding Animation & Multimedia Technology)

Essential: (i) ME/M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class (5% Relaxation for SCs/STs) with consistently good academic record; preferably Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university

ii.Age < 40 years on the last date of receiving application.

Desirable:i.Evidence of participation in sponsored research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy programmes;
ii.Proven record of guiding UG/PG students and team work;
iii.Participation in professional society activities.

Experience:i.Research/Industrial/Teaching experience in the relevant discipline for a minimum of 1 year;
ii.Good publications record in referred scientific/ professional journals.
 

Assistant Professor (Basic Sciencesand Humanities & Social Sciences):
Essential: i.MA/MSc Degree in the relevant discipline, in First Class (5% relaxation to SC/STs or as per UGC norms) or qualified in NET conducted by UGC/CSIR,with consistently good academic record; preferably Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university.
 

ii.Age < 40 years on the last date of receiving application.

Desirable: i.Evidence of participation in sponsored research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy programmes;
ii.Proven record of guiding UG/PG students and team work;
iii.Participation in professional society activities.

Experience:i.Research/Industrial/Teaching experience in the relevant discipline for a minimum of 1 years;
ii.Good publications record in referred scientific / professional journals.Assistant Professor (Animation & Multimedia Technology):

Essential: i.Master’s Degree in relevant branch (Animation or Multimedia or Fine Arts/Visual Art) from a recognized University or Institute of repute with first class (5% relaxation to SC/STs or as per UGC norms) in Master’s Degree and specialized in one or more of the following fields: 2D and FlashAnimation/3DModeling/Texturing/Rigging/Animation/Lighting/ Compositing
/VFX/Audio and Video Editing.
 

ii.Age<40 years on the last date of receiving application.
