Puducherry University invites application for Junior Research Fellow Opening For Junior Research Fellow.

Post : Junior Research Fellow in the SERB, 

Project: Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi, sponsored research project entitled “Geochemical and Isotopic investigation of Meso-Neoproterozoic Bhima Group sediments, Eastern Dharwar Craton and their bearing on Proterozoic crustal evolution and sea water composition”.

Project Duration : 3 Years (coterminous with the project)

 

Age limit: Should not exceed 28 years

Fellowship : Rs. 14,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 16,000/- per month for the third year after assessment. (As per DST guidelines)

Qualification : M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/Geochemistry with at least 55% marks with NET or GATE. The candidate should have strong interest in field work, sedimentary petrology and geochemistry.
