The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, established in 1942 with Corporate Office at New Delhi and a network of 38 national laboratories spread over the country is a premier R&D Organisation in India providing S & T inputs to a diverse spectrum of economic, industrial and societal sectors. The R & D activities covers fields from aerospace engineering to ocean sciences, molecular biology to metallurgy, chemicals to mining, food to petroleum & leather to environment. In order to foster multidisciplinary research and to cater to the requirements of the southern region, five major laboratories established regional centres at Madras in a single campus which is known as CSIR MADRAS COMPLEX (CMC).

Salary: Rs.15,000/- PM. 

 

Duration:  Two years [The internship shall be tenable for a maximum period of two years from the date of joining, subject to performance review every six months, and not extendable under any circumstances]

 

Qualification: 

First class or equivalent GPA in B.E./B.Tech (Mineral Engineering or Mineral Processing) Or M.Sc (Chemistry) Inorganic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry.

Interested candidates may Walk-in on Wednesday the 4th June, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. with an application in the prescribed format appended along with Originals and attested copies of certificates and testimonials in proof of age, qualification and community (for SC/ST/OBC) and with recent passport size photograph Candidates who come for interview with incomplete particulars/ information will not be entertained. Candidates will have to undergo a written test before interview.
 

Freshers will be eligible for interview, only if they are able to produce at least the provisional certificate or a consolidated mark sheet with the results.
