Objective:
• To give an overview of telecommunication technologies
• To give an exposure to working/live telecommunication equipment deployed in BSNL
• To help enhance awareness of the students on various job options in the telecom industry

Mode:
Theory sessions at well equipped Training Centre & Visits to Telecom Installation centers, Assignment,, Evaluation & CertificationDuration: Course Level –B : 2 Full weeks (24 sessions ) Monday to Friday

Eligibility :
2nd / 3rd / 4th Year Engineering students of streams of Electronics & Communications, IT Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation etc.

Overview of Telecommunication Networks
PCM Principles.
Introduction to the Latest Switches in Telecommunication Industry
Fibre-Optic Communication Technology

Emerging trends in Telecom- 3G, NGN etc

Visits to Installations:
Visit to Telephone Exchange and Transmission Center Visit to GSM/CDMA and MPLS / NOC

Training Fees :
Rs. 4950 + 12.36% Service Tax =Total Rs. 5562/-
Fee structure is subjected to BSNL Corporate Office orders. Requisite fees in the form of DD in favour of – AO-CASH (HQ), BG TD, BSNL
